We love our pups (and kittens, you may have seen Jacklyn's kitten Scout pop up in our posts before). Stephanie's yellow lab, Phoenix, turned one today! What better way to celebrate than with gourmet treats. The biscuits above are from Honey's Bakery. Made with peanut butter, honey and yogurt, Stephanie was tempted to try them herself. We love Cupcakes of Westdale for thinking of our pooches. They offer pupcakes, a double baked peanut butter cake topped with peanut butter and a milk bone cookie. If your in the London area, we suggest Bosco and Roxy's who specialize in gourmet stuffed bones and frozen yogurt treats. The family owened business hand cuts, bakes and decorates scrumptious cookies. Plus they offer a special line of bite sized organic cookies, with flavours like double cheeseburger, steak frites, chicken and barley and apple pie.
Stephanie feeds Phoenix a holistic blend of dry and wet food, as well as organic cookies for snacks and rewards. She found these biscuits by Nature's Animals, who handmake and freshly bake their gourmet cookies. With flavours like Carrot Crunch and Heart Grain and Honey, she knew Phoenix would gobble them right up.
But Phoenix's favourite was hands down the peanut butter pop from Claudia's Canine Cuisine; basically a giant peanut butter lollipop with peanuts, honey and yogurt set on top of a rawhide stick. Phoenix couldn't get enough. See proof above.
