Ladies Who Lunch

We found this beautiful tea cup set in the basement of an unassuming shop on Locke Street. If you're looking to outfit your kitchen cabinets with antique china sets, Olive's Oddments is the place.

While perusing the shop we dreamt up our idea of the perfect birthday party. On the invitation, 'Ladies Who Lunch'. The theme: a picnic in the park with mimosas, wide brim hats and an assortment of mini sandwiches. When thinking of gifts, we suggest you ask your friends to bring a tea cup and matching saucer fitted to their personality. You will have gorgeous photos and be left with a priceless mix-and-match tea set to start off your year with a bit of class.

In the July issue of Vogue, Mark Holgate's article When Did Chic Get So Cool?, comments on the turn of our generation towards a more polished and grown up style. Coco Chanel said it best, and its something to never forget, "Dress shabbily and they notice the dress, dress impeccably and they notice the woman."
