Tea for Two

On the south end of the Tea Room two large hats, one red and the other purple hang on the hat stand. It brought back memories of the time Jacklyn decided she longed to be a 'hatter'. A few years ago she approached a Queen of the Red Hat Society while attending the Hamilton Food & Drink Fest. Needless to say the ladies never responded to her countless phone calls and inquiries and never disclosed the location of their next Society event. Maybe the grace and class attributed with the hatter is something that comes with age?

During our lunch we decided to be persistent, but to maybe wait a few years for our time to come. In the interim, we frequently visit the Tea Room for high tea. We love the china tea cups, vintage linens and selection of sandwiches from cucumber and cream cheese to cheddar and apple. And while their assortment of tea is lovely, we're particularly drawn to the lavender lemonade.
