The Harbour Diner

As soon as you arrive at the Habour Diner you'll fall in love with the atmosphere and floral motif. The first thing that struck us was the professional way we were greeted. For a diner, the servers exude an effortless elegance, especially in their description of the daily features. We wanted to try everything on the menu!

The Fish & Chips are a healthy alternative to a pub-style dinner. They're lightly seasoned and broiled white cod, served with oven baked potato wedges and homemade tartar sauce. Delish.

The Harbour Diner was opened by the engaged couple Chris Preston, Chef, and Erin Milward in November 2008. Since visiting Harbour we've often found ourselves purusing other menus and saying "I wish we had the Harbour Diner menu right now." The selection, gourmet touches and reasonable prices make it unique from other restaurants in the city.

Subtle nautical decor fills the restaurant, from the countertops to the greeting cards the owners receive.

The Crab & Lobster Macaroni & Cheese was unreal! A traditional dish with an elegant twist, this generous serving of a classic Macaroni is loaded with lobster and crab and topped with a full lobster claw and garlic crustini.

The Harbour Diner is known for serving William Spartivento Coffees.

The restaurant is decorated with kitsch, mismatched formica tables, 50s style chairs and floral flatware. This style can often be difficult to achieve without looking tacky or over indulgent, but Harbour Diner pulls it off so well.
