A number of our readers commented following our holiday party post wondering where they could buy macarons. Stephanie bought hers from Sweet Celebrations Patisserie and we couldn't get over how delicious the Niagara honey and passionfruit flavours were. We also suggest the caramel sea salt or lavender varities from La Bamboche or the rose, cassis or poppy flower flavours from Nadège Patisserie. But macarons can be quite pricey, ranging from $2.00 - $3.00 a piece. So we don't blame if you if you can't dedicate half your party budget to pastries. Alas, we have a little secret to share with you.. we found out that PC offers macarons. We can only hope they aren't seasonal, especially at this price. They come in four flavours: raspberry, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Thaw for fifteen minutes, arrange on pretty plate and voila! You look like the ultimate hostess.
