Fig & Cheese

Five days a week I travel into the city for work. The hustle and bustle of commuting makes the brief spells of calm and quiet on days off more meaningful. I keep these hours close. During the afternoon, I sat on the deck with the sun shining on my face and the dogs at my feet. There was no sense of rush. When the temperature cooled, I ventured over to the local cheese shop. I prepared an easy afternoon snack and brought it inside to enjoy by the window with the sun streaming in.
