As the seasons transition, so do the fragrances I wear. But I’m always drawn to the scent of rose. This past summer I picked up MCMC’s Maine perfume oil, fittingly while travelling down the coast of Maine. The perfume oil has lovely notes of Bulgarian rose, clary sage, wild Somalian myrhh and French seaweed.
Even with the shoreline far out of sight, it takes me back to the sea salt air and beach plums growing wild in sand dunes along the Atlantic coast.
Come winter, I find myself drawn towards the warmer notes of woods. It’s only natural that our fragrance preferences change in the cooler months as we look to create feelings of comfort. Elegantly understated, OLO’s Cedar & Rose perfume oil combines the warmth of cedar wood with dark floral notes.
Worn well with a cozy sweater, it’s perfect for curling up in a cottage after a walk through the snowy woods.
