BRIKA Holiday Pop-Up Shop + Gift Guide
BRIKA HOLIDAY POP-UP SHOP
I may not have a hearth or halls to deck out for the holidays this year. Open concept condo.. le sigh. But I still wanted to create something special for the space this Christmas season.
BRIKA HOLIDAY POP-UP SHOP

When I discovered that BRIKA's holiday pop-up shop in Yorkdale had a beautiful event space for workshops, I couldn't resist signing up for one. Last week I joined  DeLight Floral Design and one of my fave DIY bloggers,  Natalie Ho of My Little Secretsfor a holiday centrepiece workshop.

The night was a total delight. I met Jen Lee Koss and Kena Paranjape, the founders of Toronto based e-tailer, BRIKA. I've frequented their online shop since its early days, and I love seeing them expand as a shopping destination.

The holiday pop-up at Yorkdale is stocked with well-crafted gifts from a community of makers and designers.  I prefer shopping local for the holidays. You'll truly find unique and meaningful gifts to give your friends and family. There's also a gift wrapping station and a darling cafe serving hot apple cider and baked goods from Moo Milk Bar.  Us gals had a great time making and shopping for the holidays with BRIKA.

Lucky for you, there's a few more classes scheduled, including a fragrance workshop with Maison Apothecare. For details on all the workshops and events at BRIKA's Yorkdale pop-up shop, head over here!

Flower pop-up Shop
Pop-Up Flower Shop

I always love to offer ideas for things to do on the weekends. And this weekend, gals, guys, go treat yourself to a bouquet of spring blooms! I mean, what better way is there to beat the winter blues? A Fine Medley is hosting a flower pop-up shop at Girl on the Wing February 27th + 28th.

You may remember, I attended Jessica's wreath-making workshop back in December. I was so smitten with her floral designs, when I saw she was hosting a flower pop-up shop I just had to share the event with you. If you didn't order in advance, not to worry. Simply let Jessica know your budget and fave flowers when you get there. Flowers are personal. Whether you love tulips or ranunclulus, she'll definitely pull together a beautiful bouquet designed just for you.
