What to Pack: A Weekend in Montreal

It's been a month or so since we came back from Italy. And already, I've been feeling the post travel blues. I started thinking about where we could go for a weekend away, somewhere fairly close to home. (Things we love: road trips.) And thanks to my friends at Expedia.ca, I was able to plan a last minute getaway to Montreal. We're staying at Renaissance Montreal Downtown and we head out today!

So now the important part. What to pack? I pack light, no matter the length of a trip. And I recently bought THE perfect carry-on from travel brand Away. Beyond being beautifully designed, it keeps everything organized and it has a built in charging outlet. And since I drain my iPhone battery every hour on the hour, this is a major plus.

Simple basics are perfect for strolling around town, whether grabbing a coffee at Tommy Cafe or checking out the latest exhibit at the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal. I love Everlane’s box cut tees and striped shirts., and Equipment’s denim shirts. They pair well with any jeans whether its my cropped white denim by Mother, or my Levi’s 501 CTs. And I can easily swap out my sneakers for leather slides by ATP Atelier to change up the look.

My go-to accessories, a straw hat by Janessa Leone and a silk bandana by Mona Sultan. And of course my new FujiFilm x100T camera. The most gorgeous, vintage looking camera perfect for street photography. Follow me on Instagram @beauxmondes, I’ll be posting all weekend from Montreal!
